I have worked in management and executive management positions at Signetics, Avnet, Xilinx, and Mentor Graphics subsidiary; Exemplar Logic. Recently, I have also headed business development at Blackstone Technology Group.
In each on these positions I have been successful in gaining management and employee consensus in the management and execution of complex marketing projects and budgets. I have also initiated and completed business relationships with companies such as Altera, Xilinx, Mentor Graphics, Synopsys, Magma, IBM, and SGI.
Some of the projects I have been responsible for include the Galileo and Leonardo Spectrum products at Exemplar Logic, The Plus5000 programmable logic line at Plus Logic, which was the progenitor of the Xilinx XC9500 EPLD and Flash products.
I have also negotiated extensive OEM and technology exchanges with major semiconductor and software companies. I was a part of the merger team when Mentor Graphics and Exemplar Logic merged in 1995. Later, I was a key executive and part of the negotiating team when Exemplar was recapitalized and spun out as an independent subsidiary.
I have extensive international experience and have traveled throughout Europe and Asia, including a two year period of time spent living in Germany as the general manager of Plus Logic's European Sales Office.
I graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a BS.EE and have held engineering, sales and marketing positions prior to forming IFR Marketing. I have one patent.
I live with my wife and daughter in San Jose, CA.
